Prometheus (5,000 year old)

That tree was sadly cut by a graduate student and U.S. Forest Service personnel for research purposes. They later came to know about age of that historical tree which is approximately 4862 to 5,000 years old. The tree was located on Wheeler Peak (2nd highest peace of Nevada)
Methuselah (4,800 years)

Schulman and Harlan estimated 4,789 year age of Methuselah tree in 1957. It belongs to Pinus longaeva species of tree of tree which is famous for its long life. Mostly found in higher mountains of United States of America. Like Prometheus, Methuselah also belong to Great Basin Bristlecone Pine family located in Nevada, United States
Sarv-e-Abarqu (4,000 years)

Belong to Cypress specifies of trees located Abarqu, Yazd, Islamic Republic of Iran. Cypress trees are found in different countries in Asia, Europe, America, and Australia. Sar-e-Abarqu is also an national monument of Iran.

3,600 year old Alerce tree is located in Chile (South America). Belong to Fitzroya cupressoides species of trees which are mostly found in Chile and Argentina which is consider largest tree species in South America with estimated height of 40-60 meter
