Angel Falls (980 m / 3,212 ft)
Angel Fall is world’s highest waterfal. It is located in Bolivar State region of Venezuela. Nine hundred eighty meter high water fall was discovered by Ernesto Sanchez La Cruz, a Venezuelan explorer. The fall is located in a difficult landscape which is difficult to access. Most of the tourists buy special packages which also include an aerial flyby of the falls. Venezuelan top tourist attraction is mostly operated from June to December.
Tugela Falls (948 m / 3,110 ft)
World’s second highest water fall is located in KwaZulu-Natal Provence, South Africa. The water of Tugela fall is considered safer to drink; the fall itself is easily accessible. Mont-Aux-Sources are the sources of Tugela fall.
Ramnefjellsfossen (818 m / 2,685 ft)
Ramnefjellsfossen is also called Utigardsfossen. It is consider as 3rd highest waterfall in the world; located in a small county ‘Sogn og Fjordane’ in Stryn, Norway. Deadliest water fall (over 100 people died due to landslide) can be reached easily by road, boat or plane.
Monge Fall (773 m / 2,535 ft)
Monge Fall or Mongefossen (in Norwegian language) is 2nd highest waterfall of Norway and 4rth highest waterfall of the world. It is located on Rauma Railway between Flatmark and Marstein. The government is using this waterfall to generate electricity.
Gocta Cataracts (771 m / 2,530 ft)
Although Gocta fall was well known to local residence but it was measured, map and announced on the pressure of a German explorer in 2006. Water fell down from top of a mountain which can be seen from a distance. World’s 5th highest waterfall is located in province of Chachapoyas in Amazonas. The area is gaining tourist attraction.
