To commemorate the 50th anniversary of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ Ronald Winston of the House of Harry Winston designed a pair of red ruby slippers. The pair worn by Judy Garland in the film was made of sequins, these are made of 4,600 real rubies totaling 1,350 carats.

Designed by Stuart Weitzman these open toe stilettos are made of satin, and earrings that once belonged to late 40s movie star Rita Hayworth. The earrings are laden with diamonds, sapphires and rubies. Rita Hayworth daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan owns the shoes now.
