Oscar Swahn was a Swedish shooter who took part in three Olympic events winning 7 medals including one silver, two bronze and three gold medals. He won gold medal in running deer shooting team at the age of 64. Oscar was also the oldest participant in summer Olympics of 1920.
John Whittemore, Oldest Athlete
John was a Californian residence who held the record of being the oldest athlete. He threw the javelin and became oldest athlete in the age of 104. During his school time, he used to be a triple jumper. John Whittemore died in 2005
Sir Hardy Amies, Oldest Fashion Designer
Fashion designing was in his blood; his father was working at a firm which made cloths for Royal Courts. It was the wish of his father to see Hardy as an English Language teacher but he had another plan for future. He started his career in age of 21 with W & T Avery Ltd. in Birmingham. Since then he never looked back. He also designed dresses for Queen Elizabeth II for a long period of time. Hardy wrote 5 books including Here Lived…, Cambridge, 1948, Just So Far, London, 1954, The ABC of Men’s Fashion, London, 1964, Still Here, London, 1984 and The Englishman’s Suit, London, 1994.

There is no record available for youngest passenger who traveled via Airplane. On her 110th birthday, she flew from London England to New York City, USA in 1987. A few years later she improved her own records by flying at the age of 115.
Mark Reizen, Oldest Opera Singer
Mark Reizen was born in a family which was trained for playing many musical instrument including mandolin, guitar, balalaika. His passion for music didn’t die even after he joined army. He and a music-loving commander started an instrumental and vocal music group, performing for the troops. Mark Reizen holds the world record for oldest opera singer. He performed at the Bolshoi Threater, Moscow, Russia on July 1990 at the age of 90.
