Another name for Gellért Thermal Baths and Swimming Pool is Gellért fürdő or Gellért Baths. The famous Budapest’s bath was constructed between 1912 and 1918. It is known for featuring chic Art Nouveau style. The Gellért Baths complex contains small pools containing water from Gellért hill’s mineral hot springs known as thermal baths. There are two different thermal baths, according to the signs on the walls of the baths, one is around 36 °C and the other around 38 °C. The Gellert thermal bath has the largest reserve of thermal water in the city and the source was mentioned first in 1433.
