Krakatoa

Krakatoa is a volcanic island situated between islands of Java and Sumatra (Indonesia); it is popularly known for its eruption in 1883, that eruption was equal to 200 Megatons of TNT,which is 13000 times more than atomic bomb which struck Hiroshima during World War 2 and death toll from this disaster was more than 100000.

Mount Pelee

Nevado del Ruiz

Nevado del Ruiz is stratovolcano ,located about 129 Kilometers west of Bogota in Colombia and experts say it is active for 2 million years;on 1985, a lava outburst caused 23000 deaths , it destroyed town of Armero and this tragedy is known as ”Armero Tragedy” in History ; according to an estimate 500000 people of nearby towns and villages are at risk because of this volcano.

Mount St Helens

Mount St Helens, situated in Washington is a another deadly volcano, its eruption in 1980 killed 57 people and according to an estimate because of this eruption country suffered loss of colossal $ 3 Billion.
